When I began working with Dr. Joan, I had just stepped into a new Director of Nursing role where my authority was constantly being challenged. Despite my experience, I felt drained, overwhelmed, and unsure of myself amid toxic dynamics and resistance from my team. I had begun questioning whether this career was even right for me anymore, or whether I was being called in a completely different direction.

Working with Dr. Joan transformed far more than how I lead. It changed how I saw myself. I began to understand that I didn't need to abandon the work I was called to do. I needed to discover my own way of doing it. Joan helped me redefine my leadership from the inside out, shifting the energy I carried, setting clear boundaries, and learning to inspire vision and passion rather than push for compliance.
